02 Clinical Excellence & Integrated Care
Addressing complex coronary syndromes, life-threatening arrhythmias, advanced valvular diseases, and end-stage heart failure, the Center transcends traditional subspecialty boundaries to establish a holistic critical cardiovascular care model. Centered on state-of-the-art Hybrid Operating Rooms, our multidisciplinary teams seamlessly integrate pre-hospital AI-driven emergency networks, complex higher-risk indicated percutaneous coronary intervention with mechanical circulatory support (CHIP under Impella/ECMO), infection-free absorbable antibacterial envelopes with physiological conduction system pacing (LBBAP/CSP), one-stop atrial fibrillation catheter ablation combined with left atrial appendage occlusion (AF+LAAO), pulsed field ablation (PFA), transvenous lead extraction, transcatheter valve-in-valve implantation, and balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA). Through synchronized cross-departmental coordination, we deliver internationally benchmarked precision therapy across emergency, critical, structural, and heart failure care.

Additional program volume and research participation: One-stop AF ablation with LAAO reached 31 cases annually (59% of institutional LAAO volume). Enrollment in the multicenter OPTION-A trial ranked first in Taiwan and within the Asia-Pacific top ten. These describe procedural volume and study enrollment, not treatment success rates.
