Organ Transplantation Surgery
The CMUH makes continual improvement of the quality of
medical care and develops organ transplant technology.
Currently, the scope of organ transplant available at the CHUH
covers liver, kidney and cornea. Furthermore, we are one of
the 3 hospitals in Taiwan capable of performing living liver
transplantation surgery.
Liver Center
To ensure effective integration of diagnosis, treatment and
follow-up for liver disorder patients, the Liver Center has
been equipped with complete software and hardware to embark
on clinical trial of medications for chronic hepatitis and
early diagnosis and local radical treatment of liver cancer
in order to enhance the survival rate of patients by
offering the latest treatment programs. We also embark on
foundational research to enhance the competitive strength of
CMUH, hoping to develop the hospital into the biggest
research and clinical center for liver disorders.
Hemofiltration
With a better performance in hemolytic uremia clearance,
hemofiltration can reduce EPO consumption and side effects
of hemodialysis, such as sore muscle and bone due to
long-term application of hemodialysis, irritated skin and
joint pain, uremic encephalopathy etc. To enhance dialysis
performance, to prevent complications due to long-term
application of hemodialysis and to improve the living
quality of patients, we thus develop and promote the
hemofiltration.
Diagnosis Research Laboratory
In the area of Chinese Medicine, we have been developing
various modernized diagnostic instruments, such as the
biopotential instrument, electronic meridian (ryodorakn)
diagnosis system, tongue diagnosis photographic analyzer,
computer pulse instrument, listening computer voice
analyzer, nail fold microcirculation computer analyzer and
Kirlian aura photography, in order to promote the
modernization of Chinese Medicine. |
