As the hospital pertaining to the China Medical University,
the CMUH is committed to providing excellent medical services, clinical
education and research, and the modernization of Chinese Medicine. It
is also our mission to make continual improvement of clinical education,
research and medical services and to launch strategic alliance with reputed
medical institutions sharing the same belief of the CMUH, in order to
construct the China Medicine System for offering patient-focus high-quality
and excellent services.
Our six targets include: (1) enhancement of total medical service quality;
(2) development of holistic education in medicine and cultivation of
medical talents; (3) localization and optimization of research environment
by combining the CMU resources; (4) continual improvement of employee
benefits and creation of quality work environment; (5) realization of
the belief in "using what is taken from the society in the interest
of the society" and promotion of community preventive medicine,
epidemic prevention, healthy city public health policies; and (6) development
of long-term care and geriatrics in response to the aging society and
drawing up long-term care development strategy to enhance the quality
of care for aging people.
We hope that the China Medicine System will be completed in the 21st
century to provide full-range and uninterrupted Chinese and Western medical
care to the public and to turn the CMU into a first-rate medical institution
in the world and the CMUH a first-class center for Chinese and Western
medicines in order to construct an excellent and high-performance medical,
education and research system.
